There were tears in many an eye as some of Ferguslie Pre Fives celebrated the end of their nursery days. The children did a performance based on Julia Donaldson's book Monkey Puzzle and what a great show it was. Dance and movement was performed to represent each of the animals in the book. My favourite act was the frogs which had the kids bounce around the room on colourful space hoppers and the elephants were excellent too with the kids being as large as they could be and waving their trunks around. A big credit to the choreographer. It's really hard to adapt a story for wee ones to perform at their level and still make sense but this was done brilliantly and the kids seemes to love it.
